A great replacement for my cord
The original charger cord got damaged and wouldn't work. In desperation, I ordered this replacement cord and crossed my fingers... but it fits perfectly, works well, and is a bit longer than the original. I am very pleased with it.

Check your wattage
This is advertised as a replacement for Dell Inspiron 3793 and it does work but the output wattage is 45W, my OEM charger was 65W. When I plugged it in a warning popped up on the computer with instructions how to turn off warning. I usually keep my computer plugged in when using it and this keeps the battery full when using. When I got it, my battery was low since my old charger had died, and this charged it back to full. If you run on battery power then recharge this should work, but may take longer to recharge. Just my theory, as I have not actually tested it.

The above headline does not fix my response.Simply stated, my old cord stopped working...no longer charged my computer. This cord is an excellent replacement.

Worked for my Dell Laptop
Fit my Dell Inspiron 15-5000 series laptop and charges as well as the original charger. Just make sure you match the wattage of the original charger.
