Well, what can I say about this. Its does not do what its supposed to. Sent it back. Reverted to buying a B and Q budget saw. Then I started getting the job done. All it done was squash up the end of the laminate panel, I used a lot of pressure too, and I am not a small guy! So save your money.

It's hard to use so you do need a strong man but it works and does the job.. I am a strong woman but even using all my weight I couldn't get it to go through the laminate flooring but we did buy the expensive stuff which is thicker.. I would recommend but only if you have a strong strong strong man to help..

First of all, the lack of support to keep a full piece of laminate level while trying to "cut" makes it impossible, second, it is not a cutter, the piece of metal that is supposed to cut the laminate is about 6mm thick, there is no blade or cutting edge, it basically uses pressure to TEAR an unsightly line in your laminate floor. I am 18st and had to put all of my upper body weight into to it to make a cut, I cut one piece, had to scrap the piece of laminate and put this back in the box and returned it, a fine toothed hand saw will do a much better job for a fraction of the money if you are on a budget

I think for the price this is a bit of let down. The only product I've ever ordered off of amazon that I havent been completely happy with. First of all, it's extremely difficult to put together and second of all it doesn't do as advertised. It does not cut through laminate in the slightest. Waste of money, sorry.
