Quality weighted lap blanket. My son has a normal weighted blanket for his bed, which works fine. This lap pad is for the car, the quality is very good. Can tell it’s well made. And my son enjoys the soft feel to it. Would recommend

Excellent quality and price
I can't give a full review yet as I just bought early for my daughter for Christmas but I have to say I was impressed for the price. Very good quality, well made item. My daughter liked it (tried it out before Christmas) and my other halfs little sister also liked it so much that I had to order another one for her. She's thrilled with it. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weighted blanket/lap pad.

High quality
Really well made with good quality fabric. The colours online are true to life. I like that there are no unnecessary labels to annoy my daughter, just one very small one with the brand name. She leaves this one at school during term time to help her to be less wriggly in lessons.

Effective for sensory needs. Very heavy. Not suitable to use while sleeping.
Great lap pad for adults with autism and sensory processing difficulties. My son needs deep pressure and this settles him when he is relaxing or is suffering anxiety while he is in the car so he doesn't take his seatbelt off so often. Word of warning...this is heavy. Our occupational therapist strongly advises against this being used on his bed.

Amazing , soft and bright.
Arrived quickly, lovely weighted soft pad ideal for someone with autism . Bright colour just like advertised. I can see it being used daily for comfort and to help with anxiety.

Just what we needed!
This has been amazing. Its lovely quality, the perfect amount of weight and comfort. I love the material. The little one has this over his legs during quiet time before bed and he drifts off faster than ever.

Really really pleased I bought this little blanket of calm.
This is perfect size for childs lap or even mine. I bought it for my spd daughter as she cant sit still ever. It helped immensely. My teen and I also love it as its comforting, like a mini hug. Quite magical really and very well made.

Attention au poids
De très bonne qualité par contre il est assez lourd donc pas possible de l utiliser avec des enfants . Toujours trop lourd pour mon fils de 6 ans

Unconventional Use - but works great for my 70lb dog!
I have several weighted blankets that I've used for a couple years. They are extremely soothing. They help me a TON with sleep - and with them, I can fall asleep and wake up many hours later in the same position rather than restlessly tossing and turning all night. SO....my senior golden retriever (13 years old; 70lbs) has a recurring wrist injury. Every time she re-injures it, it's really hard on her and causes her much distress. This spring she has injured it twice in 3 months! We can manage the pain for her and keep it immobilized while it heals, but for her, we can tell she gets really frustrated with each recurring injury (she can be quite dramatic, good thing we know her so well!). On a whim I purchased this blanket for her. She's only used it for 3 days so far, but she really (!) likes it! It keeps her still and resting so she can heal. It even helps when we apply ice bc she's not trying to get up and get the ice off! I can leave the room (usually she would try to follow me which is not good when trying to limit movement) and she is in such a deep slumber that she doesn't even notice I left for a few minutes. This seems to be a high quality blanket, perfect for a child, or for a large dog!

Very calming
I bought this for myself and I love it. It is very grounding and calming to wear this on my lap when I sit to read and relax in the evening, and I find it also helps the discomfort of my arthritic knees. It is very well made and I love the fabric it is made of, lovely soft texture and a beautiful deep blue colour. I checked out a lot of lap pads and this is the nicest one I saw. At 5 pounds, it is right for me as an adult and would be good for an older child or teen. It might be a bit too heavy for a young child (5 or younger). My granddaughter is 18 months and she has a 2-pound lap pad which is about the right weight for her.

Perfect restraining Theraphy.
It was perfect. It was really helpful for my son especially at school. He was able to stay clam.Am about to order another one for home.
