Very excited to have found this! Great for people with food allergies
I have Celiac disease and multiple food allergies, so my diet is limited. I also have adrenal fatigue and absolutely need to eat protein every few hours to keep my energy levels stable. One big challenge I face is getting protein in the mornings. I typically don't feel like/have the time to prepare and eat any type of meat. I also am unable to consume that majority of protein powders on the market (they all have dairy or egg or grains/legumes), so I was really happy to discover this protein powder (found it through an ad in Paleo Magazine)I wasn't sure what to expect from this protein powder, but so far it is great! It tastes delicious, and adds a nice fluffy texture to smoothies. I blend it with a banana, berries, and some additive-free coconut milk and bee pollen. It makes a super yummy smoothie. I also love that it is so pure (from grass-fed cows) and contains no sugar and only natural flavoring. The L-glutamine, which helps heal the gut, as well as probiotics and MTC's from coconut are a major plus!Very excited I found this!

Too sweet, but still good
This was the first beef protein powder I tried and I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. It tastes good, strong vanilla flavor and no coconut that I could tell (though I wouldn't have minded). My issue is that it is just too sweet. I really wish they would cut the stevia by half. Even with unflavored unsweetened almond milk, the full serving amount makes the taste overpowering, not to mention 2 big scoops is a lot of powder to mix in. So I just do half servings and it mixes well with my handheld blender. Using it daily, though, it's lasted only about a month, even less if I'd done full servings, so that makes it a little pricey in my book. Still will be reordering but might check out cheaper options.

It's okay
I've used chocolate-flavored protein powders before but never had a type that smelled or tasted like this. It isn't horrible, but I try not to smell it while drinking it. I realize taste is a preference, and giving it fewer than five stars for my personal preference doesn't seem right.I would return this for a refund, but it isn't eligible for returns. The good things about it are that it blends easily, isn't overly sweet like others, and is made of wholesome ingredients.

Tastes great!
I bought the vanilla flavor. I had read mixed reviews for this protein powder, and being a new type of protein for me, I didn't know what to expect. I love the taste and the fact that it is good for people who have food sensitivities to other types of protein. In the interest of honesty, I mix it in my morning coffee which I suppose could cover a multitude of sins. It mixes well with my purse-sized, handheld portable drink mixer. With another protein powder I had gotten into the habit of mixing the powder into a small amount of coffee before pouring the rest of my cup, so I don't know if this step is really important or not. Anyway, it's not too sweet, which I love. I will be purchasing this again and will also be trying the chocolate flavor. I do wish it wasn't so much more costly than other protein powders, but quality does have its price.

Tastes Terrible!
I have tried several other beef protein powders and this is by far the worst tasting! How anyone could say it taste even good is beyond me. It tastes and smells terrible! The worst of all is that this seller will not allow returns. Seems to me they know it tastes like garbage. I challenge the seller to contact me and make it right because they won’t stay in business very long selling protein that tastes like this then not guaranteeing their products

Too much stevia, pass for me
Tried these two protein powders, and the Amy Meyers beat the Ultimate Paleo no question. The Ultimate Paleo had a stronger stevia aftertaste (and was also sweeter) than the Amy Meyers. I got the chocolate and didn’t notice any beef flavor in either. The Ultimate Paleo was more like a milk chocolate, while the Amy Meyers had a more bitter dark chocolate flavor. I also tried mixing these with banana, PB2 and milk, but decided it wasn’t worth the extra calories. I used a Vitamix blender, so I can’t compare how these would do in a Blender bottle, but they both did well in a blender.

I feel the difference
I recently started this drink. Negative, if the liquid isn't hot, it doesn't mix well. Positive, great substitute if you miss a meal. Great tasting also.

VERY Good Protein Powder
This is a VERY good protein powder. A couple of things to note, they do not use any sort of anti-foaming agent so when you mix it it is all foam, however I have found that if I mix it then let it sit for a while in the fridge it will go back to liquid and it actually tastes better (the vanilla is stronger). Clean up is very easy, probably because there's not the anti-foaming agent. Most protein powders if you don't wash the mixing container immediately it is so sticky it is terrible to try to clean. This protein drink rinses right out with water and no scrubbing. I bought the vanilla flavor so it could be used in different things and discovered it mixes very well with cocoa powder to make it a perfect not too sweet chocolate protein drink. I just use water as my liquid, I've only ever had one other protein powder besides this one that tastes good mixed with water. The only negative that I can see is that I have to use my mini blender to get it completely mixed or it has chunks. I've tried using the whisk ball in my blender bottle and it doesn't quite get it completely blended which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
