Purchased this sharpener because it has different settings for different pencils, ex color pencils or regular pencil. It works great! No more broken for color pencils! I got this for my 8 year old who loves to draw. She has been using it non-stop since it was delivered to our home. She has really given this thing a beating, but it sharpens like no one's business and has met every expectation. She loves that it automatically stops sharpening once it has a perfect point, and you can change the length of the point (there's a switch on the side). It's easy to open and empty. It does run on batteries, but has a USB plug option if you don't want to keep refilling them. I really like the it has a slide closure at the top to keep little ones from jamming things in it when they shouldn't.

I bought this pencil sharpener for my classroom and haven't received any complaints from my students. In fact, I've only heard great things about how sharp pencil lead gets each and everytime it's used. The only thing that could make these any better is to make them two toned which would make them match my school colors.

Works great easy to use everything is included you need. Can sharpen 7/8 pencils before you need to empty they container of shavings. Really simple to empty container and sharpen some more
