I like that this did not come with a large box and lots of plastic packaging! Better for the environment. This kit can make 60 bookmarks and I purchased it as a birthday gift for a 9 year old, so was not able to try them myself. I may order another set to use with students or for my daughter to make "thank you" or gift bookmarks for grandparents and other family members. Kids love doing scratch art and is cool you can make a functional item. I am not sure if the scratch art becomes scratched over time if you use it as a bookmark? Cool art craft kit!

Easy to use. I brought these in to my sons class for his birthday since we dont do food and they were a big hit. I had to help tie the ribbon, but the actual drawing part was easy.

I have 4 kids and with quarantining and home learning I've been searching out quick and easy things to pull out when someone is bored. A lot of crafts make a mess. These bookmarks are pretty awesome. Anyone from my 6 year old to my 12 year old can manage without me, and they enjoy making one for themselves or one to send Grandma or an Auntie or Teacher. Such a nice touch that they came with ribbons to tie onto the top. One drawback....I did buy the set originally to include in some goodie bags to deliver to friends in lieu of getting together for a kiddo birthday party, but the bookmarks do not come with enough of the wooden sticks to put a bookmark, ribbon and stick in each kiddo goodie bag. I think the for the 60 bookmarks it came with maybe 30 or so sticks. No biggie for our home use at all, but if you're putting these in separate gifts, make sure you order another set if you need more sticks.

These were the perfect little gift for students in my classroom. The kids enjoyed designing their own bookmark. This kit came with everything you need. There are more bookmarks than carving sticks though so be sure to reuse them to make more bookmarks.

My 8th grade students loved these and were asking for more. They had a blast individualizing their designs. A closed mechanical pen or pencil will do the trick, the small wooden sticks that come with it aren't necessary though appreciated since students always run out of supplies. I recommend these and they're a great value for the money .

Bought for 5th graders for Valentine’s Day. They had fun creating designs and inspirational sayings. Took a while for me to secure all the ribbons but worth it when they showed me their creations throughout the day. There was only 30 sticks so some had to share or use pen caps to etch.
