Love the blanket that I finally washed in the washer under “Heavy” and warm temp and dried on low temp. Have used it nightly for a year and was long overdue for a wash. Much too dirty for a hand wash as tag suggested. Came out of wash in perfect condition. Blanket has worn well to look new after a wash.I sleep better with this blanket and am unwilling to sleep without it. It does comfort and hug me well and isn’t overly hot, but does heat me up a bit. I do wish it weighed about 3 pounds more as it’s not quite heavy enough to suit me, but not enough to hunt and purchase a heavier blanket.I have restless leg syndrome. This blanket cured it for a while, but it soon returned; thus the reason I wish it was heavier. I think my legs need more weight than this blanket offers. I didn’t think I should knock off a star due to it’s light weight as it is indeed a fantastic blanket that I dearly love.

I have tried it all for restless leg syndrome relief while sleeping. Exercise, stretches/yoga, and prescriptions seemed to be futile. With this weighted blanket I have noticeable better sleep quality and can wake up feeling energized. I observed my sleep patterns with a camera to determine its worth with quantitative data. On the nights that I slept using the calming comfort blanket I observed an ~80% reduction in periodic limb movement.This blanket is supposed to help calm individuals with anxiety and I can see how this is true. You have to try one yourself to understand.Having two sides is also really convenient. Its cooling side actually works to keep you cool and the plush side is soft and warm. I highly recommend the calming comfort weighted blanket.

I visited my brother and they had this on their first bed...I went home and missed the blanket...I ordered for myself from Santa ...It is on my couch and I use everyday! It is fabulous!!!

I’m not sure the product I received was new it looked worn and it wasn’t in an official package very useful but you can’t machine wash it I have it dry clean it has to be washed by hand so useful but quite inconvenient I expected more from sharper image

This is my 2nd one, exact same model, and I am still happy with it. Its a little humid where I live now so I can flip it to stay cool on the non-plush side. Its the perfect size for me at 5’5” and the weight is great for travel too. I used to take this with me every week I traveled for work and it works well enough to be just a solo blanket too. I have tried others but this “cooling” side makes this model the best every time. During winter, the plush side is great! Highly recommend. **Its now 2023 and I bought this in 2021. The most difficult part is getting it cleaned. All the travel this blanket has seen, and still no rips or tears, even with pets around. I had another one (different brand/model) and it ripped immediately with pets around. This Sharper Image Cooling Comfort blanket has been the absolute best for me. I just wish I could make it easier to travel around with me. I does fit in a carry-on size luggage with one outfit, but its heavy. 😂😂 If I could magically make this light to travel and the. HEAVY to sleep, that’d be awesome! Regardless, I still LOVE this blanket after 2 yrs of daily use in all seasons.

The size says 75" long. I'm 6'1 thinking it would be long enough for my 73" body since I'm not covering my head. It went up to by neck and could not cover my feet. I had to actually measure it. It measured to 71.5 inches long while flat (not 75"). But when the curve of a body is added into it, I guess it needs to be much longer than even what it was supposed to be.

The quality was excellent and if your in the market to buy this I’d say yes for sure. I was just seeing if I’d want a weighted blanket and it’s not for me.

My mom has had nothing but good things to say about this blanket. She's getting more productive and deep sleep.
