This simply doesn't work. It's a pleasant looking unit and gives off a bright, blue light but it doesn't do the two things it's meant to do: attract flies and kill flies. I had them switched on for 18 hours in a light and then dark room, including 2 or 3 hours of dark overnight and there were four or five flies in the room. Only one fly went near it and when it crawled into the inner area, where the electric zapper is, it wanderd around and flew back out again. What a complete waste of time. The flies were house flies so nothing out of the ordinary. Returning to Amazon.

I used to use mosquito-repellent incense before. However, it smells horrible and may be bad for our body. (Sometimes I get up with a headache after using it for a night). I am trying to find something that can replace mosquito-repellent incense but fails many times, until I accidentally saw this electronic mosquito killer. I placed an order several days before and has been using it since I got it. As described, it works very well. The days when this mosquito-killing lights are on, obviously the mosquitoes are much less, and I was not bitten at night. Moreover, the lighting is not glaring so it will affect your sleep. I am very happy that finally I get rid of both mosquitos and mosquito-repellent incense.

Ok but do not last that long. When I first got them they were bright and appeared to work ok. In a short period of time like four weeks they went dim and I am not sure they are affective anymore. Would have hoped they would have lasted a little longer for the cost. Would not recommend if you want something to be affective.

These units are almost impossible to clean. It makes me wander if the manufacturer has actually tried to use these units. The brush is too big and the grill openings too small.But on the positive side they are effective, they actually work.So i removed some of the frame at the front and somehow manage to clean them.

Not much chance to see results yet but doesn’t look too promising.Sitting here now watching two flies circling round it without going in !Not attracting flies at all apart from sitting on the casing !Returning for for refund I’m afraid .Sent back via Hermes. **** Now a week on and still no refund

It's easy to use, just plug & go and small enough for any room. The blue light it somewhat bright but I could live with that if it worked. I followed the instructions, but has never "caught" anything. Other reviews rate this product, so I'm surprised it didn't work for me. I wouldn't buy it againbut will give it another go next year.

Purchased these after reading the reviews - I must have bought something different !! Don’t waste your money, attracted a few moths but not one fly or mosquito. Now in the bin.

Certainly does not attract flies.Also, at night I'm still being stung by mosquitoes/gnats.After 2 weeks nothing whatsoever has been zapped.AVOID!
