THE WORST
The first hook I pulled out and used had so many splinters and rough edges that it shredded the yarn as I tried to do my first row. Don't buy these! I will have to sand out the imperfections before I use any of them!!!The rest of the it was fine - nice colors to differentiate sizes and the stoppers are good.

High quality, low price, great seller
These crochet hooks are SO hard to find. This is a perfect set for anyone new to Tunisian crochet, because you are going to love it and need a bunch of different sizes. The sizes are a good variety, the wood part is finished well so no splinters and the whole thing is sturdy and long enough for tons of different projects. I like the different colors too as they are organized by size. The package came timely and the seller even sent me a little note and yes bag. :) very nice touch.

GARBAGE. DO NOT BUY
These are the worst, most awful crochet hooks I've ever purchased. The hook has splinters and catches my yarn. The tip is so bulky I can't even fit it through loops on my yarn. They came together entangled. I will never purchase from this buyer again. I'll use these as kinling for fires after I cut them off the plastic. GARBAGE.

Sadly, had to return
Not of best quality. The bamboo starts to splinter. I'm assuming from the repetitive friction of the yarn. Although the extension is of perfect length for larger projects, the yarns do not glide easily over it. Maybe due to the extender being plastic? The colors are pretty though. I needed to return these =(

Meh.
The hook itself is a relatively shallow notch, and the finish on the bamboo is not particularly smooth. It constantly grips my yarn hard if there's any tension on the loop at all, which is challenging to work with. I'm very much kicking myself for not buying the aluminum version instead. The tubing "tails" are nice and long though; plenty of room for a good size project. If I refinish the bamboo, and maybe file the notches a little deeper, I'll enjoy working on these more.

Yarntastrophy!
I was so disappointed in these hooks. When I read the info for these Tunisian hooks I was so excited I could hardly wait for them to be delivered. I had so many projects in mind to make with them. Sadly when the arrived all of my joy was deflated. The finish in the hooks are jagged and uneven. They snag and Frey the yarn with every pass. Do not buy these hooks!!!

Good enough for the price. Had to hand sand hooks to use.
I've had these for a couple weeks cause I wanted a chance to actually use them before writing this review. Over all these are okay hooks for the price. I ended up having to sand several of them down to keep them from snagging. If you've bought cheaper wooden hooks that's probably an issue you're aware of though. The tails are nice and long which is great, the bamboo ball on the end serves it's purpose well, the transfer from the hook to the tail is smooth enough, though there's is the occasional snag.Overall, if you don't mind running a sanding block over them when you get them I'd recommend them.

Update- the hook and line come apart
My mom is not even 1/2 way finished with one Afghan and the hook and plastic line are coming apart.I have to glue it with some sort of very strong glue for her to finish it for a grandson.UPDATE: bamboo hooks are smooth but plastic line is bent and had to be taped on.We took oxygen tubing and shoved it over the end of the hook! You can make it as long as you want.Amazing! Now it will out last the apocalypse.
