Needs to be charged 4 hours before use and 4 hours when recharging--which keeps the lights on, so better to do in the day time. Very handy, especially for one person. Changing the tip out for a second person is easy enough (different color) or you could buy one for each of you.My dental hygienist recommended I use a water style pick to removing food particles. I have lots of dental work and am 70 years old. She said using an automated brush is not necessary, a regular brush will do, and flossing is still essential.I've had this less than a week, but since I don't like the feel of food between my teeth, I've used it after every meal. If I don't use the entire container of water, I( leave it for after the next meal, but it is always emptied for over night and is easy to put out of sight after each use--unlike corded devices. I replaced a leaking Water Pik brand with this 'Dental Jet Cleaner.'

 This little gadget is surprisingly powerful! I love it ! Does a great job at deep cleaning and gives you the feeling you get after a professional cleaning. Word to the wise though put it in your mouth before you turn it on.

Works better than expected. Easier alternative to string flosser. Very compact, and came with multiple heads and a travel bag which is handy. I find myself flossing more as it feels better on the gums. Highly recommended! Remember, only floss the teeth you want to keep!

I've never used one of these before but I was certainly not expecting it to be no where near as powerful as it is. You just charge it, charging is super fast. Fill it with water select a setting and that's it. It left my mouth feeling super clean. Loved it!

First time using one. It is very handy. You can definitely tell a difference, makes your teeth feel more clean then just a regular brush and regular floss. I'm definitely happy with the water flosser.

I just received this product today and charged it for the recommended 4 hours. I used it for the first time and since I have never used one before, I was not prepared for how powerful this little thing is. If you are planning on getting one, I do recommend getting one as after I used it my teeth felt very very clean in between. However, do be careful as even on the lowest setting it gives a powerful blast and because I didn't have it in my mouth properly I blasted my lip and it swelled up quite a bit. It will take some getting used to but I look forward to using it every day.I did take off one star because it's hard to reach the inside of the bottom teeth. Also, it is manufactured in China. I was looking for one that was manufactured in the U.S. I suppose the price should have tipped me off about that. Either way, it does the job. I will update when needed.

This works well for what it's made for... cleaning between the teeth. What I don't like about it is that I often need to refill the reservoir to finish the job because it doesn't hold much water at a time. What's most frustrating is that I have turned it on by accident several times (water sprays everywhere!) because the power button is in an awkward & hard to avoid spot. I've also turned it off by accident when I wasn't ready to. If that button was in a more out of the way spot I would have given this a 5 star rating. A small water reservoir for a product that cleans this well at this low price point is a fair trade off. Wiping water off the mirror, cabinets, floor, counter.... not great.

The Water Flosser is great. I have already noticed improvements in my gums and the cleanliness of my mouth overall. I hate flossing, but I have loved using this awesome tool. I am looking forward to going to my dentist next time so I can show off just how clean my mouth is and how great my gums are looking.
