Comfortable durable and does the job
I have been using his off and on for about a month. I have issues with arthritis in my thumb. Undoubtably this is the result from being in a wheelchair for 20+ years and a consequence of constantly grabbing my hand rim to move myself around. We just took a trip to Europe where I had to do a lot of pushing. I wore this ontop of a light glove and it worked great. It gave me a bit more support for my thumb while not getting in the way of doing what I needed to do. There were several days where I wore this most of the day and it was reasonably comfortable. I will also say that it held up well. Frankly the brace held up better than my gloves. In my opinion, the brace probably did more by limiting my range of motion just enough to keep me from putting too much stress on the joint. I was happy that I had this on our trip.

Great hand braces to relieve pain!
I have bilateral thumb. CMC osteoarthritis. My choices was to wear braces and get hand injections or to have surgery on each of my hands. I would probably not have full use of either hand for at least 12 months. And the surgery was not a guarantee that the pain that I'm experiencing would go away. For the past 4 years I've used four or five different braces, even braces that I got from the hand surgeons department that was $125 a piece. When I saw these braces and the reviews and because of the price, I decided what do I have to lose? Let me give it a shot. I have to tell you I've been using these braces now for about a month and I'm using them on each hand, and they're the best braces that I've owned for my hand joint problems. They're easy to put on and take off. They fully relieve the pain on both of my hands and they're also easy to keep clean and they're very durable as well. If you're experiencing hand pain and you're looking for a good hand brace, try these. You have nothing to lose and you're not paying $125 each for something that's not going to be as good as these braces. So in the end I want to thank the manufacturer for helping me out. I'm going to buy another pair of these braces to have extra in the house and I rate them five stars, if I could rate them 10 Stars I would rate them 10 Stars.

Good support...but...
This is a very supportive brace. I do like it. Ventilation is reasonable however in the summer it will feel a bit hot. I gave it a 4 instead of 5 for one reason- the strap that goes around just below your knuckles and to the base of your thumb should have a slightly longer "hook" pad on it because I have large hands and once in a while this strap will lift off. It needs more contact with the hook & loop closure system to be more secure for large or stronger more active hands. That one issue would put me on the fence of buying it again or trying another similar product.

This was the one for me
I guess I sprained or stressed my thumb doing prep and cooking at a restaurant. If I hooked or used my thumb a certain way the pain screamed. I couldn’t use my thumb for a while and the pain would even wake me out of a deep sleep.I used this splint, especially for when I was sleeping (didn’t realize how much I adjusted my covers in my sleep). It was perfect in protecting my thumb and I could still use my hand well enough to get by. Once I started using this splint my thumb finally started to heal and quickly. Wish I hadn’t waited so long to purchase this splint. Thought it would heal on its own.Durable product, very affordable price, and the only splint I ordered that actually stabilized my thumb and prevented it from bending back. I noticed my muscles would relax and I felt no pain while wearing this.

I love this Brace! Perfect for de Quervain‘s tenosynovitis. And you can’t beat the price!
Mueller is one of the most respected brands in braces. I love this one because it’s so adjustable with the three straps. It’s relatively lightweight and it looks like it’s breathable. This is the first day I’ve used it so I’m not 100% certain of that.It seems very well-made and doable. It’s got some cushioning and no painful and heavy metal inserts. Highly recommended.Technically, I can bend my thumb a little, but I’m not concerned about that. Even though this is called a thumb stabilizer, it’s really a thumb and wrist stabilizer, which is just what I needed. And it’s about half price of the other ones. You can’t go wrong with this brace, in my opinion.

Spica splint that really helps!
I was in need of some help for my overworked hand/thumb and was looking for support for it. This spica splint turned out to be exactly what I needed.Great 3-velcro closure system for support and somewhat adjustable for personal preference. I have found great healing and support from using this splint. I have not felt added warmth/heat as other reviews have stated. It has indeed saved me from surgery. I highly recommend this one.

Thumb Velcro is too weak for contact sports like BJJ
The media could not be loaded. I bought this brace to support my right thumb after an Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) injury. It looked promising based on the high ratings and description, but in reality it's just MEH.The support is decent - there are firm inserts along the thumb that help keep it stable - and it’s fairly comfortable to wear. It’s also easy to put on and adjust, and the material is breathable enough for multi-hour use.But the main issue is the thumb Velcro. It just doesn’t stick well.During any kind of activity - especially contact sports or grappling - the thumb strap keeps coming undone. That makes the whole brace kind of pointless if you're trying to protect your thumb while moving around or doing anything physical. If you’re only planning to wear it while resting or doing light activities, it might be okay. But if you’re looking for something that holds up during sports or anything active, the weak Velcro is a dealbreaker. This was a waste of money as it has obvious design flaws that needs to be fixed.Make all the velcro straps - especially the one on the thumb - longer and stronger and I'd buy it, otherwise this belongs in the trash.3-stars is being generous.
