Couldn’t figure out how to separate the puck from the base at first - I was trying to unthread it or loosen it somehow. Directions were very vague on that. Eventually figured out that if you just pull hard enough then you overcome the little spring form that puts pressure on the inner “puck” to hold it inside of the mounting base. Once that was achieved, it was very straightforward installation. These lights have quite a bit of length to their cords, so you can mount them just about anywhere as long as you are prepared to bundle or hide the cords. The dimming works as expected. Haven’t used long enough to comment on life expectancy, but meets my expectations at this point. Used them in a standing bar project.

Slick design, high quality product. The light is great enough and give a warm color, the cable is pretty long. But it would be nice if it works with a smart plug. When I turn off the smart plug, the lights are off. But when I turn the smart plug back on, the lights still OFF unless I have to manually turn it back on by pressing its power button. I don't have to do this with other's puck light design.

I installed the BS-PP001-3w in upper cabinetsI have it hooked up to a switch on the wall.Is there any way to make the dimmer NOT turn off the lights after the wall switch is turned off and back on ?The dimmer causes the lights not to turn back on by the wall switchAppreciate any feedbackThanks

The kit is exactly as described and works well. The difficulty is with the length of the wire on which the power/dimmer device is located. It's just too short to be convenient. Total length of the wire is about a foot and that includes the transition from the power cord to the switch then to the distribution block. Installing this in our wall unit required compromises I shouldn't have had to make.

The aluminium units look good and can be set to the required brightness with the dimmer switch. For my purpose it would have been helpful if the supplier sold a cable extension, as I had to make up my own.An annoying aspect is you can't use a remote or switched power socket - the lights always have to be turned on via the supplied switch.

Nice lights, look nice, easy install. Only issue is that the wiring is a little short, so if you are lighting a kitchen, you'll have to add in extra lengths of wiring to span distances in order to light all the counter tops.

Remodeled my PC area and needed more light.Installed 4 of the 6 pucks and run them on low. Still more light than I need but I love the the product. Only problem is the small screws that come with the pucks. Be prepared to be frustrated trying to handle the. I had to install them on a small board and then install that board under the cabinets.Overall a very nice product that I will enjoy for years to come!!!

I ordered one set of these and they failed. Stopped working all together. The switch box and the junction box are junk. The second set that was sent did the same thing but lasted a tad longer. about 1 month and a half. the first set only lasted 5 days. Cannot return them because its over 30 days.JUNK PRODUCT.

Not 3000K, 3890-3930K. Fluorescent look, not incandescent. Such an ugly light. Sad because the build is beautiful strong aluminum and looks like really high quality. The dimmer works really well as well. And when plugged into a socket operated by a switch, the light comes on when the dimmer is powered again (that is, if the dimmer component is turned on when the circuit is powered, then you switch power off, the lights will come back on when you switch power back on - no need to refine the dimmer).

These lights stopped working one day. Would be great purchase if they lasted longer then few months.

Used these to replace my very expensive original set installed with my kitchen. I think they are better.
