I bought this for a motorcycle tour I was embarking on. I'm too old to be sleeping on the ground and despite the fantastical claims, I found the thin mattresses just aren't up to the job and are actually quite uncomfortable after any length of time.The idea of built in pump appealed to me. Although some reviewers seemed to have trouble with it, I found it fairly effective. It does take a bit of a knack to use it, but it's really very easy and I could have it pumped up in a minute or two.It's comfortable to sleep on and I had no trouble with it deflating at all. Note that there's an additional plug that has to be fitted. You'll find it in the little bag that contains the patch.It's also very simple to deflate with the large plug on the end. Packing it away is a simple affair and no more waiting ages or wrestling with the mattress to get all the air out of it.The built in pillow is a nice addition. It's just high enough to take away the need to carry an extra pillow.For the time I was away, this mattress served me well and I had only good nights of sleep leaving me ready for the ride the next day.

Comfy and easy to use. Does take a while to pump and will need regular re-inflating if using for more than one night.

Took this with me camping, thought the built in foot pump would be a good idea but it took ages, so used my friends pump, bed pumped up in no time.. come back a few hours later and bed is already very deflated, so I attempt to pump it up using the foot pump, it pumps it a little but it is so much work for such little air to go inside.. I had a terrible night sleep as I just couldn't get comfy and the mattress was just deflating. In the end I just opened the valve and let all the air out as it wasn't doing anything at all. Second night attempted to blow up and try again but again the same problem, air just didn't stay inside the mattress.. Third night of trying to use it I actually packed it away because it's frankly, absolutely useless and the foot pump was actually in the way of my leg where I was trying to sleep. My friend camps alot and when I told him about this mattress and the issues the response was, yeah they seem all well and good but aren't really practical - stick with the traditional mattresses. Since mine deflated a couple hours after pumping it and before I even got a chance to properly use it, I've asked Amazon to return the item as faulty. I don't know if the unit itself is faulty or a design flaw but I had three very uncomfortable nights and wish I had just bought a standard thin air mattress. Really disappointed as I thought silent night was a good brand. Also looks like I'm back to the drawing board to find myself a decent air mattress for my next trip :( what's more disappointing is I have a bad back anyway and thought this would help (or at least not be detrimental) and in fact I had no air mattress at all because this was useless really didn't help my physical wellbeing. Don't recommend.

The built in pump is a winner, super comfy, easy to use, good quality, good size I'm 6.1.. fold up reasonably small for camping. But worth the effort of carrying or packing as it made sleeping in a tent so much better. Did not go down either.

After buying a generic, cheap airbed to have guests sleep on, it developed a slow puncture which was nowhere to be found. When finding a replacement, I knew to look for a respected brand name that didn't break the bank. This achieved that and much more!It's low profile but easily thick enough to be super comfortable, you don't need to be raised 4 feet off the ground for that! This is ideal for using either in the home or camping (but quite heavy so probably not in a rucksack).The built-in foot pump has a bit of a method that you need to figure out by thinking about how to get air into the pump whilst not losing it when you press it into the bed. I found the best way to push with the balls of your feet and lift all the way off to let the air back in.

We had difficulty inflating the airbed at first using the foot pump as the stopper on the far end kept coming out and releasing air. I resolved this and managed to pump the airbed successfully, but it takes quite a lot of pumping!

Nice sturdy and easy to set up even without a pump. That being said I have not fully used the built in pump and have no idea how long it would take to pump it up that way. It does not deflate entirely after a night of sleep like pervious one we had. Its a little smaller than actual standard size double but it is big enough for two to sleep comfortably. Also it does look quite nice. It is easy to fold back though I did not manage to fit back in the box as I have no patience but my partner did so it is possible.

Bought two for camping with family. Comfortable, Lost air in one through night, but valve wasn’t secure. Once air removed easy folding and good value for money.
