We had to purchase this sunscreen b/c we traveled to a very sensitive coral reef area which restricted allowable sunscreens. It was high priced compared to typical sunscreen options, but we had to have sunscreen b/c it was going to be record heat and record water temperatures. My nephew has extremely sensitive skin and burns almost instantly. I was worried b/c this sunscreen sprays out and feels almost like clear oil. I thought - we are going to burn with boils or maybe end up with tons of acne. I was wrong - this sunscreen is worth the $$$ and I definitely recommend it to everyone. We spent the entire day 7am-5pm in and out of the water with only a few re-applications to our faces. We came home from vacation and people did not believe we had actually gone out in the sun. No sunburn, no acne, no tans. This stuff really works!

I have been using this sunscreen since I was little and it’s the best. It soaks into your skin so nicely and doesn’t feel sticky. All of my friends and family love it too.

This sunscreen works very well. I use it when I play golf. I spray it on as I'm getting dressed. I sweat through my shirt on those hot humid summer days but is still soaks into the skin and works throughout the round. The spray applicator works for everything but my eyes. It used to seep into my eyes from my eyelids, but now I just wear an old pair of small sunglasses when applying and it works great.

Was so happy to see amazon carries this as it's been my favorite sunscreen for years and I couldn't find it in any dermatologist office (or store) anywhere near me. Applies easily and protects well! Thank you!

It’s oil free but still feels oily. It dries down less so. If you’re considering this for a midday SPF refresh on your face, don’t. The oily quality isn’t good for makeup, and it will burn your eyes like crazy when it starts moving around. Good for the rest of your body when you’re on the go.

I first heard about this brand because it was listed in Allergic Living’s 2020 Top Allergy-Friendly Sunscreens List. Since my son has severe allergies it has been very hard to find a sunscreen that is free of top allergens INCLUDING coconut. We had been using Badger Baby on all of us for the last 7 years (because if he hugs or rubs up against us while we are wearing sunscreen with coconut he breaks out) and while it works and has great ingredients, it's also a thick white paste. So when I saw this and saw that it was free from top 8 allergens, including soy, no sesame, gluten-free, AND coconut free AND cruelty free/vegan AND it was a spray!?!? Well it sounded too good to be true.It's not. It works. It's so much easier to put on than the Badger Baby sunscreen. We can put it on my allergic kid and no rash, we can put it on my 3 year old and no screaming or wrestling. They can run around outside in the heat and play in the water and so far no complaints about anything running into their eyes and no burns. We are generally sun-cautious and wear a lot of sun protective clothing and hats, but this works great for the areas not easily covered like neck, feet, hands etc.I will say it is a very small bottle (we got the smaller of the two sizes) but the non-aerosol sprayer is very efficient. I can cover the full length of both my arms in 3-4 sprays. I also bought the 30spf for kids in the orange bottle, and the ingredients are slightly different. The orange bottle doesn't contain homosalate and the percentages of the other ingredients are slightly different. In terms of application and efficacy though, I don't see too much of a difference between the two other than the spf. I do like the tiny bottles because they fit more easily into our diaper bag without taking up a ton of space and I can fit one into my smaller purse so that we're prepared for any unexpected outdoor fun. I would love a "refill" option so that we can reduce waste in the future, but for now these should last us the summer.

My only issue with KINeSYS is that the lid won't stay on and it's a little prone to leaking because of it. The smell is great. The application is easy and effective. The sun protection is good. I have very pale skin, so nothing is full proof for me, but this is comparable with other brands. The lid really is a problem though, especially during travel. I've wasted at least half a bottle to the leaks.

Easy to apply and not greasy

Bought this on a friend's recommendation. It smells nice and seems to offer good protection, which is the most important. It's a tiny bit greasy, but soaks in fairly quickly. I like it, and would buy it again.

Yeah, I know there isn't any oil in there but it still feels very oily and looks oily on your skin. I really like the formula / what ingredients are used though. I was hoping to use this product on my face but it's just too shiny looking and doesn't dry down.

I've been using this sunscreen for years. The kids never refuse to put it on as it smell nice, is "warm" to spray on, easy to spread on the skin. Oil-free formula, although the skin feels kinda silky or oily for a minute or so. It gives great protection, is water resistant, and the bottle shape makes it easy to spray as well. None of the toxic ingredients found in other sunscreens, so true carefree use. Well worth the price. PLUS, made by Family-owned Canadian company, not a pharmaceutical corporation, which is a bit bonus.

I have been looking for years to find a sunscreen for my head and face. I am not bald but have just enough hair that all other sunscreens I have tried makes my hair either really greasy or crusty, and or leaves me with a white film. Spray on sunscreens have also caused stinging of my eyes a few hours after first using. KINeSys has none of these problems. Everything the manufacture claims is true. Very easy to apply, works perfectly at preventing burning and for me pretty much disappears on my head and face within seconds of applying, and no stinging of my eyes. Just wish it was available in a larger size.
