Simple and easy to clean
I tried these and the Kitzini silicone ones with the plastic closure on top. I like these MUCH better and here's why:SPLF keeps my cereal from going stailKitzini did notSPLF is hand wash only, but really easy to clean (and that's a lot from a woman who swore off cleaning anything by hand.) and dry on the dishrackKitzini is dishwasher safe, but a pain in the a** to dry and always has streaks on it from the dishwasher, so I second guess if it's been washed or not, especially because it tends to flop over in the dishwasher, so I don't know if the inside was washed.SPLF is SUPER easy to open and close. I can get snacks out for my 3 year old while driving and close it back up without even taking my eyes off the roadKitzini - I may die trying to open and close this one while driving. It is a HUGE pain, the plastic closure sticks, I'm never sure if it closes all the way, and it is NOT leak proof.SPLF - leaked pickle juice into the cooler after an hour, but didn't leak when I turned it upside down to test it.Kitzini- leaks no matter what I do (maybe I just suck at using the plastic closure, but I'm usually pretty good at figuring this stuff out)In summary, this product rocks!Tip: The small bags are perfect for personal snacks in your lunch box or purse, the big bags fit family size snacks and sandwiches

Definitely worth buying!!!!
Love these! They work great for our lunches & snacks. Great sizes! Update••••After a few uses & hand washing one of them will not close. :/

Will be ordering more.
I decided to try these for backpacking because I want to stop using Ziploc bags that fall apart and tend to leave food tasting like plastic...not to mention the trash factor. I've only used these on one trip, but they pack nicely and seem to be sturdy enough to last multiple trips. Heavier than ziplocs for the UL crowd, but sometimes the very environment we are there to enjoy needs to be considered too. I'll carry the weight for the planet... especially if these keep holding up. I'll try to remember to update this review after the summer and get a lot more trips under my belt. Great product so far!

Great alternative to plastic
I haven't bought plastic bags in a very long time, but I was tired of using tupperware instead of bags. I bought these as an alternative and I'm super happy with them. The best application I've used them for was when I went on a recent plane trip that was almost a days journey once you factored in flight time and travel to the airport. I packed all my snacks in these bags and when they were gone, they took up basically no space Vs using a tupperware. They are easy to clean, but I recommend buying a bag drier as well. Easy to clean, pain in the butt to get dry if you don't use a bag drier. Pros though, the bag drier can also be used for drying a reusable bottle!

Love these!
I love these! I haven't put liquid in them, so I can't comment on how entirely leakproof they are, but they've been perfect for taking snacks on the go, as well as for refrigeration. I've stored cheese and cut vegetables in these and they work perfectly. I liked them so much I bought some more, this time with more of the snack bags - I found this to be the more useful size for me. They're bigger than a disposable sized snack bag. Hopefully they prove to be durable over the long haul!

Very pleased
These are very sturdy. Sometimes a tad difficult to seal, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but once they are...nice and tight! I have been environmentally aware and pretty careful about it for 50 years, and I'm thrilled to have given up more and more uses of disposable plastic. Also more than a little embarrassed that it took me until this year to realize there are good food-storage bag alternatives such as these!

Love them
I’ve ordered several sets of these bags and love them. I recommend them to all of my friends looking to be more earth friendly because they’re durable, so easy to clean, and stay sealed. They’re a *little* hard to open so I don’t recommend them for children, but they’re fine for my adult lady hands.

Hard to open, hard to dry out completely
I liked the idea of these, but stopped using them for two reasons:- they’re really hard to get completely dry after washing because they collapse tightly.- once sealed shut, I found it nearly impossible to pry them open. I don’t think I have particularly weak hands, but consistently could not apply enough force to get them open.
