XBOOM Ceramic Mini Portable Capsule Speaker with Rechargeable Battery, Enhanced Bass+ and Ceramic Resonator - Gold

So this is a great speaker. I'm not going to lie, the GOgroove SonaVERSE BX portable speaker is much louder, has more functionality, and better bass......but it's also much much bigger is size compared to this Xboom. It may not sound as good as the GOgroove, but it still sounds really good nonetheless. And the best part is it's so small you can just throw it in your pocket or purse. Definitely not possible with the GOgroove. I use my GOgroove when I'm at home cleaning, but anytime I go somewhere this is my go to speaker. Not a bad deal at all, but do keep in mind that there are better options to choose from that are about the same price. Personally my favorite thing about this, is the size. I've never saw a speaker this portable. Other than that, there are better options as far as sound goes. But that doesn't mean that this has bad sound because it doesn't.

For last Christmas the decision was made to 'festivize' our office door. One of the items I supplied was a small MP3 player loaded with Christmas songs and buried in a Christmas wreath for camouflage purposes. The first speakers I got were not acceptable in terms of sound volume, music quality, and battery life. This was one of 2 alternate technologies I hurriedly ordered.This was an unqualified success. The music quality was excellent. It had sufficient volume to fill our end of the hallway with sound. The battery lasted all day and then some. I recharged each night so I do not know just how long the battery would actually last.In short, I did not know that a speaker this small was capable of such quality and the buy of this was a clear winner.

I like this little speaker. It plugs nicely into my Kindle Fire with the attached audio cable, and helps provide music when I'm working in the kitchen or on some other away-from-the-computer project. Based on the reviews, I had hoped for slightly better sound quality, but really good is only a notch below excellent. The size is a real plus, since my kitchen is quite small and there's no room for conventional speakers, even ones typically sized for a computer installation. Good price/performance ratio.

This little guy is great! And, it is compact! It's about halfway in size between a tennis ball and a golf ball. When listening, you expand it like the picture shows. When finished, you simply collapse it into a small ball. Don't expect room filling sound, but it is great when you are away from home and sick of ear phones. I carry it with me on trips and use it in my hotel room attached to my phone.This is a great idea and sounds very good for it's size!

Good sound. Loud volume for such a small device. Connecting several of these speakers is a nice option too

Wow, great speaker for the money. I was surprised how good the sound is for such a tiny, little speaker. I have a Bose speaker that I used with my ipod classic, sadly, the connection doesn't fit the new ipod I recently purchased. This is a great option without spending the "big bucks". And, if you travel, it's easy to take along.

Develops static if the volume is all the way up, otherwise works okay

Small and compact. Keep a charge well. Could be a little louder.
