Great beginner carving set. I come from a long line of wood workers and wanted to try my hand at it. I ordered this set and was surprised by the quality of the blade and handle. The blade wasn’t completely smooth when I bought it but after a few passes on a wet stone and the included strop, it was in good shape. Nice set!

I was enjoying making spoons when I pulled on the knife to carve out the bowl of another design and the knife snapped. It sheared off right at the handle. I'm not sure what to do, I don't want to return it because I broke it but I shouldn't have been able to break it. I have only had it for two weeks.

These were great for whittling! Very sharp and the carrying case is very helpful. They're a little large for my hands, making them challenging to hold sometimes, but overall, really enjoying this set!!

Great price, great quality. Amazon asked me to give stars for the categories “for beginners, easy to hold, and ergonomic” I gave all three 5 stars. It’s a little too easy to hold and very ergonomic, so much so, sliced my thumb open the first night using them. Be careful

The tool roll with the parts was very good. Liked the stropping leather and polishing compound.

My nephew loved them. Bought them as a birthday gift to him.
