Don't buy building supplies from Amazon.
Complete rip-off. Amazon should stay out of the building supplies business. The description reads clearly 2-piece connector. The retail price for one of these is ~$4.40. Those two facts lead a builder to believe that by ordering three, there would be enough for three posts. Nope. After trusting Amazon to deliver to the job today, and giving them the sale, they sent three individual connectors. 8 dollars for a lousy connector is robbery. Over 26 dollars for less than a pound of galvanized metal- genuine Simpson Ties aren't that much.
