I was skeptical about ordering a toddler hat, but I'm sure glad I did. Perfect fit and colors that don't say "kid hat".

Great fit
This hat was a hit with my petite 8 year old, though she thought the pony tail hole was silly and refused to use it. It does it's job and packs well.

Sizing
It’s a nice hat but perhaps the seller should specify it’s for younger children. I purchased for my 10 year old and it was way too tight for her. I shaved off a star because it should specify it’s for younger child. I have a younger daughter (4) that it fit perfectly.

great hat for sun protection
I am a grown woman with a smaller sized head. I order this and crossed my fingers. The fit was just snug enough. I always wear a pony tail in warm/hot weather and this hat worked great. Spent 9 days in Peru and was very comfortable wearing the hat. Never got to hot.

It fits perfectly, covers her face and neck from the sun and she loves it!!

Great for a 5yo - not older kids
My 5yo was very happy with this hat, and mostly was fine with wearing it at the beach several days in a row. It fit well and stayed on, and I think was comfortable enough, though she did eventually ask to take it off after a couple hours most days.I ordered the same hat for my (average sized) almost-8yo, and it did not fit on her head. The sizing description is misleading, I think this is only for very young kiddos.

Le quedó excelente a mi hija, se ajusta.
Excelente para bloqueo de sol. Mi hija tiene 3 años y le queda un poco grande pero se ajusta y se acomoda perfecto para poder sacar el cabello por la apertura detrás.

Meine Tochter mag den Hut. Sie bekommt ihren Zopf leicht durch das Loch, kann aber auch mit offenen Haaren den Hut gut verwenden. Hält auch bei etwas Wind besser als erartet ohne das Kinband zu nutzen.
