NEXZSCAN obd2 scanner is a new launched professional and enhanced Bluetooth 4. 2 car diagnostic tool that can retrieve a wealth of information from the Engine Control Unit (ECU), it allows DIY mechanics or car owners to find out problems accurately and fix it when the check engine light comes on. It has extensive compatibility and works on most vehicles sold in the USA from the year of 1996 which support OBDII protocols. Featuring full 10 modes OBDII functions for engine system and emission related codes, and shows code definition and possible causes of problems, makes your job become efficient. Diagnose the cars through Phone APP is easier to operate and manage the diagnostic report, even a beginner can do a professional diagnosis.

Lots of potential
In summary, this device has a lot of diagnostics features and compared to other OBD II analyzers that I own, it has a lot of value packed in a small package at an affordable price. However, many functions are not working (see photos). Additionally, some features only report in metric (like Celsius and km/h) and cannot yet be changed to Farenheit and mph, so until that is resolved, it is less useful in the US market. From an experience standpoint, it goes from complicated, to cool and interesting, to disappointment. The device has a complicated registration process in the beginning, but it is easy to turn on and operate once registered. I suspect it is their way of keeping the free accompanying app from being used with other devices. As you can see by the provided screenshots, the app tells me there is an update available, but it fails to install (I tried several times and got the same result). For many reporting data, the system says my vehicle is not supported. I'm not sure if it means that feature just doesn't work yet, or if the app still needs more development to support all vehicles. When I try to clear an error code, it says "Code not cleared". What good it that? Then when I try to use the freeze frame feature, it says "no freeze frame code". I try yet another feature, and the system says "no data". I noticed on one screen the system erroneously tells me that my check engine light is on (it is not), yet on another screen it tells me the opposite. The reporting format is very text driven---which is not unusual for ODB II analyzers. But as mentioned earlier, it reports in metric and does not allow me to switch to US standard. The reporting could be improved by augmenting with charts/graphs, dials and gauges that are common in other apps I have used.My handheld all-in-one OBD II analyzers beat this model hands down, but they also cost a lot more. The packages that are similar to this Humzor device (in that they have a small OBD II connector with Bluetooth and use the phone to process and display data) are less capable than the Humzor but use free highly functional apps and costs a fraction of this package. Like many models, this device is not intended to stay plugged in all the time. Even though it is Bluetooth enabled, it does not have an auto-sleep feature. I noticed a small LED light is on all the time it is plugged in, and that stays on even when my car has been off for hours. This means your battery will eventually drain if it is left plugged in. I own three other OBD II bluetooth analyzers besides the Humzor. Two of them have an auto-sleep function to prevent battery drain, and the other one has an on/off switch. The Humzor device and accompanying app has so much potential, as you can see by the volume of data that is expected to display. Once those features are working, this package will be a dynamite tool. If you can live with metric measurements and don't mind waiting for all the features to work, then this is a gem of a product at the right price point. Until then, you may need to augment or supplement your diagnostic capabilities with another device/tool. Unlike the all-in-one handheld units, the bluetooth units only do diagnostics unless I upgrade the app. This Humzor has the built-in capability of error code reset, but until it works, I do not see the point of paying extra for that functionality. All in all, the Humzor shows promise and I can see how it would be a great device once everything works. If you decide to buy it, lower your expectations and realize that it is not a fully functional package...at least not yet. I will update my rating once I see the needed improvements or likewise, if operation deteriorates as I try to use it more.

Seems like a good little device at a good price.
This seems to be the same unit as a more expensive one which is offered on Amazon. I had already bought a cheap one recently elsewhere and it simply refused to connect but I had no problems with this one. I would remind the user to make sure bluetooth is 'on' on their phone but do not connect to the NEXZSCAN in the usual way... instead, open the application on the phone and tap the red Bluetooth Icon in the upper right corner, and it will connect to the phone's Bluetooth from WITHIN the app.I downloaded the NEXZSCAN app from the iTunes app store, which was easy and quick, and the functions all seem to work fine - I only have had this set up for a short while but it's clear that it's responding as it should on my 2019 Ford F-150.I do have a 2003 Dodge Intrepid which indicates it is connected to the device, but for some reason the app does not see that I have a check engine light on, nor does selecting the option to clear the C E light make it go out. However that is a very old car and I don't doubt that has something to do with it.Overall I am very pleased with the NEXZSCAN and should add that it also was delivered very quickly!

Overpriced waste of money - reviews are not all for this item!!!!!
Read the reviews carefully - the seller has included reviews for a lot of different items in the reviews for this listing. That's fraudulent! The product will not connect with the phone's bluetooth, so it only works with it's own software (which is crappy and requires a registration to use). There are plenty of other products out there that can do the same thing for a fraction of the price and free software from 3rd parties.

Proprietary software makes this easier than using Torq if you're more a novice
To start with there is a sheet of paper inside the box which has a serial and registration number on it. You don't need this and it was apparently inserted for the IoS and Android software originally but is no longer required. The box has excellent read times and is geared for more of a novice or intermediate user. You can read almost all internal sensors in real time along with logging them for shop use. You can read and reset engine faults with ease on top of seeing when your car enters closed loop from open loop. The form factor being so small on an obd reader is a huge pro also.

be careful Don't buy!
Don't waste your time it doesn't work, it's really hard try to connect and then it says your car is ok even if the check light is on. Low quality, the size is really small and makes it difficult to handle. It has a rating of 5 stars because they offer a free gift if you rate with 5 stars, very dishonest !

Purchased this to replace my lost BlueDriver
I had owned BlueDriver and loved that product.I am an auto broker and my clients hire me to go to dealer-only auctions and inspect cars on their behalf.I purchased the Humzor scanner and, obviously, found myself comparing it to the BlueDriver I had lost.Impressive, is the best way to describe the Humzor scanner!I can view live data, which is instrumental to me when I work/repair cars. The product allows me to EMAIL A DIAGNOSTIC REPORT TO MYSELF while I'm on the auction lot! I can then go the office, review the report, and do further research from my PC.The VALUE OF THIS PRODUCT is incredible! For $25 you can read live data?! For the uninitiated, a basic scanner from Walmart costs $20 and doesn't permit 60% of the functionality of this scanner.Truly an incredible value.Glenn

Humzor w/the Vulvor
The reason I bought this product was to track the fuel trim on my 2001 Volvo XC-70. It does that, and the NEXZSCAN app is user-friendly with a bunch of other features. No cords, no bulky OBDII scanner, Bluetooth success. One annoying aspect is that I have to disconnect Bluetooth to the car stereo while I use it, but that just comes with the territory. This may not be the case with other vehicle stereo systems. Fair price. High recommendation from me.
