Silentnight Ultrabounce Duvet, 4.5 tog, Microfiber, White, Super King

I bought the Duvet without paying extra for faster delivery and it still arrived after 36hrs or so.The duvet settled quite quickly after unpacking and there were no smells or other nasty surprises. The first thing I noticed was that the outer material was NOT the dreaded 'tea bag' type material but, as a negative point for me, (hence 4 stars, not 5 stars) the outer material was rather shiny/slippery in appearance but this didn't result in the duvet sliding around in my cotton based duvet cover.The duvet settles nicely around the body providing a 'nestling' effect without feeling weighty at all and will 'give' a little when turning to nestle once more. There is no noise such as rustling and no lumping/clumping in the 5 nights I've used this duvet - it couldn't be any better apart from a natural cotton outer layer.To say this 13.5 is warm really is the case - in fact, I guessed at a 13.5 Tog rating and found this to be a little too warm for comfort to the point I found sleep a little more elusive than usual (even though I like a little extra warmth at night) so I have now ordered a 10.5 Tog duvet.Summary:I good quality, warm and comfortable duvet at a good price but a little too warm for me at 13.5 Tog. Highly recommended at 13.5 Tog for extra warmth or a lesser Tog rating if this is your preference.

I wanted a king size duvet to replace my old 10.5 tog. I wanted something really warm as I get so cold at night. I wanted luxury feel like you might get in a good hotel. This duvet is great. It’s very thick and very bouncy, like sleeping inside a cloud. It’s not very heavy on your body but is so very warm and full of volume. I took it out of the package and gave it a very good shake and fluff up and left it spread out for a few hours before putting it into my duvet cover. This duvet is a great winter duvet.

A very light 4.5 tog duvet that is ideal for the hot summer nights, keeps its shape very well and is an ideal weight for anyone who likes to sleep with a quilt over them. I have never had any problems with Silentnight duvets in the past and when washed in the washer they always bounce back to their original shape.It could also be used as a topup with a winter duvet.Well worth the money that includes a five year guartee.

It really does bounce back into shape!Love it ! So much better than my last duvet ( I had to keep shaking it so it looked nice ) I don’t need to do anything to this one.

I was hoping this duvet to be very full and bouncy as per the packaging but I was a little disappointed with how not so bouncy it was. But will do for now until I can find myself something warmer for the winter

Good quality as expected from Silent Night. All household duvets are Silent Night, this one bought to replace older one, would definitely recommend

There isn't anything I don't like about this duvet. It is so light and warm. I would have liked an ultra bounce duvet 4.5 tog, but I haven't been able to find one.

I would recommend the duvet however don't make the same mistake I did. The 13.5 tog is way to hot for my body. It has me waking up each morning with my body soaked in sweat. I would recommend going for an all year round duvet instead that way you can adjust the tog when needed. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of this beforehand so I will need to change my duvet again.
