These are bright and work well but I will have to install resistors in my Passat in order to fix some quirks. NOTICE that the plug and play resistors do not fit the Passat. You will have to wire them into the line. I think the extra work is worth it for the added safety of the attention getting bulb. I was rear ended in my brand new car in 2002 and I really don't want that to happen again. Also cars without yellow turn signals/hazard flashers are not going to be as visible in fog or snow. Ever notice that the red traffic lights are harder to see in bad weather than the yellow? My hope is that the added brightness will help compensate for the deficiency. Automakers, please have yellow rear flashers on all your cars. P.S. Alla has very good customer service

'09 MB C300 Sport, has 2 combo Brake, Running lamps per side. Added resistors for can bus operation. Running are +400 lumens and look great, make the tails look new. Brakes strobe at +2000 lumens as advertised. If I am stopping, the WORLD knows it which is exactly what I desired. keeps the tailgaters at bay!If this is what you desire, they deliver as advertised.

Perfect fit, easy install and flashes 3-4 times and then solid.Only problem is that it causes a brake circuit error but the lights illuminate perfectly. Can anyone recommend which resistor to get in order to remedy the issue?
