Both lanterns were broken into multiple pieces in my first order. Replacements intact and work well. I like that they will keep water out for a holiday display and candles are much bigger than some other models I considered. Note a Timer is the only on function.Update: I've seen several reviews incorrectly complaining about lack of timer or remote. There IS no separate remote or separate timer. The on switch at bottom triggers the internal timer which keeps the candles lit for a set number of hours. They auto-shutoff & will relight for the same set number of hours in every 24 hour cycle thereafter for as long as the batteries last, or until you turn them back to the off switch.

These aren't available, so I guess it doesn't matter but.....I bought them because they were supposed to have a timer. But they do not. There is only an ON and OFF switch. They look great- perfect for my Halloween decorations, but I have no idea how it will work with them not having a timer. I might return. Also- no instructions or anything in the package. Not happy about the bait and switch.

I had to take both apart and drill a hole and screw the switch to the housing. The first or second time on both when I tried to turn it on, the switch fell up into the housing and I could not turn it on until I fixed it. Been fine after that.

I definitely like the look they give my living room, but the light itself is a bit strange. You can see somewhat of a honeycomb pattern inside of the lantern while it is lit, which takes away from the realistic look a bit. I gave the remote a low rating because outside of turning the lights on and off, the remote has no other working function, as the buttons to toggle between light, candle, dimmer and timer settings do not work at all.

My wife and I use it for decoration around the house, we put the batteries and it worked as promised. Overall it is a great decoration and at night it looks great lit up. For the price, it does look great and quality build. It takes a lot o f batteries so get ready for that part however it lasts forever on the battery set. Overall recommended!

These lanterns are absolutely wonderful! I received so many compliments that I bought 3 more sets. One more for the house, 1 as a gift and one set for our Air BnB cabin. The controls (remote) work perfectly and to my surprise once set they will come on the exact same time every day and go off as timed. The glow is wonderful and not too bright and the flicker is exactly right. Worth every penny!

It didn’t have the flame look on it but the timer works great.

The casing is hard plastic.When lit it has a couple of options, light on all the time or flickers like a candle.Very nice. Remote is a great extra. Bought a hook and mounted on a wood plack on the wall.Looks great.Very satisfied.

Product don't Work and very Cheap material - do not fit Description - not even close - brand new Duracell Batteries - one Lantern did not work at all, the second one off and on for 30 min ... than she quit

Not as advertised, required AAA batteries instead of AA and hooks are not included. Remotes do not work all the time, need to press more than once for the lights to open or close.

Theres no controller and no timer like it said in the description! also it takes AAAs not AAs. Seem like dollar store quality should have been cheaper. They look cool though and light up pretty well
