Got it *done*.
1991 Honda CRX Si. Factory engine. I've been trying to get this crank bolt loose for a while. Tried all the crazy things. Fire, chemicals, ridiculous extensions on my breaker bar. Nothing. THIS? Maybe three seconds on the impact trigger and that things LOOSE. Two words: buy it.

Works
Got my crank bolt off! And only using a Ryobi 300ft lbs electric air rachet! No need for the 1400ft lbs everyone gets to get it off! Well worth every penny!

17MM CRANK BOLT BUSTER!!!
HONDA D-SERIES OWNERS!!! Just buy this thing. If you're looking around for one, then you obviously need it, so just buy this one because it definitely works. Used my biggest 1/2 impact on my d16 and it wouldn't budge. But I used my smallest, most worn, harbor freight 1/2 inch impact with this socket just had to tap the trigger

Amazing tool.
Just buy it. Worked wonders on getting a seized crankbolt off a 2000 honda civic, this tool saved my engine. My only regret is not buying it sooner. Highly recommend.

Worked on the crank bolt
I have a 2000 Honda Civic and I had to remove the crankshaft pulley bolt. First, I bought the Honda tool that stops the engine from cranking when you turn the bolt (not this product, something else). So then I just needed enough torque to take the bolt off.I tried jumping on a breaker bar. I broke a socket extension, then eventually the bar broke too. The crankshaft pulley bolt still had not budged.I bought a 400lb-ft rated impact wrench. It didn't do anything. Finally I stumbled across this weighted socket, which I'd never heard of online before. It worked with the impact wrench instantly. I am so happy and surprised with this product. It got off that bolt which had probably been on for 20 years. I'm so grateful.
