I suppose these will go down in price as more homes and businesses install them, but we have been very pleased with ours. You install it by download their app, follow instructions to connect to your WiFi (I did have to reset my WiFi one time), name your light, and, voila! I use a google home connection to turn it on, dim it, change the colors, and when sleepy time arrives, tell it to shut down. I use mine in the bedroom so it’s awesome if I have to get up for anything at night, and I can voice activate it as I enter the room for safety. The app will tell you what systems it is compatible with, which is pretty much all of them by my count.

These work very well once you get them up and running. Everything from soft white to daylight looks and a huge color spectrum possible. I took one star off because the way the directions want you to get these to hook up to Alexa is insane. I set these up on my Note9 and I am guessing Apple has this same app. Download the Smart Life App and activate it in your Echo app. The directions have you using a different phone app and doing some convoluted steps to get the Echo to register it. The Smart Life App set up the bulb and my Echo app automatically found it. Much easier.

Took them out of the box and went straight to the instructions. Pretty clear as to how to put the bulbs in pair mode and how to add them to the Lamp UX app. Only hiccup was the instructions stating to change your router settings for the wifi. I chose to not do that since mine broadcasts the same wifi name for both 2.4ghz and 5ghz and it didn't find them on the first attempt, but had no issues on second attempt. Added the skill in my Amazon Alexa app and found both devices with no issues. I have seen reviews stating that you can't change the colors with Alexa and that is not true. You can say the command to set a specific color and it will change it as well as change the colors in the Amazon Alexa app. You really only need the Lamp UX app to do the initial setup, after that you can control everything with Alexa. The Amazon Alexa app has full functionality to add bulbs to routines or schedules. My only complaint is that colors are dim when set to anything other than white spectrum. My kids are happy with them and that is all I need.

I installed these in a couple of lamps at home and they work great! Using their app, you can change their color and brightness. You can also use one of the preset 'scenes' to set up the light for reading, working, night, etc. They also have scenes where the color will automatically and continuously change.Its also convenient to turn lights on/off remotely and with Alexa. Alexa can turn then on/off but it cannot change the colors, so you need the app for that.I likes these light bulbs so much that I ended up buying 4 more within a week of getting the first order!

For the price, you're going to have a hard time finding something better. These paired easily. The white is dim but brighter than I expected. While in color mode the brightness is just too dim. From 10 feet they measured 2 lux in color mode vs 31 lux in white. Changing the colors is easy but matching colors is impossible. The app is not very good but if you use Alexa, Google or IFTTT this can be overcome. It hasn't been updated in almost 8 months. That's forever and more than just a little scary.

Connecting to the lights is not easy. It was a pain in the ass to do all the steps. I was hoping it would be like an easy Bluetooth pairing type deal, but no.It takes 2-3 mins for the app to complete a pairing search.. which isn't horrible but after trying 10+ time's to pair the lights to my phone, it starting driving me nuts.It forces you to set your router from 5ghz to 2.4ghz wifi, or it won't connect. Which is stupid to say the least. But even after that, I couldn't get my android or my roommates iphone to connect the app to the lights.The lights were very dim also.If these weren't only $20, I'd send them back for a refund. Overall 1/5 stars

When set to a color, it is very dim. Also, although these save the last color they were set to - each time when you turn on the light switch - they flash white for a second before changing to the correct color! This almost defeats the point of having it remember its last color setting.

I was having multiple problems with many different bulbs I tried these. Very happy is the way they connected to my Wi-Fi and how they've been working ever since. They seem very responsive with a great color of light. Highly recommended.
