Cannondale Men's Domestique Shorts

Bike short somewhat like seats can be a point of contention for many cyclists. I have always preferred gel pad shorts as they seem to offer the most comfort for extended “saddle time”. These shorts however are an exception in the non-gel pad, they fit great, are comfortable. They just finished a Tandem tour with me along the Columbia River gorge where my wife I enjoyed 6-8 hours per day in the saddle and my "you know what" was rather comfortable. Another plus no annoying emblems or garish stickers on the shorts!

This product runs large and the fabrique is kind of crisp. I wear Cannondale spandex biking shorts as my goto bike shorts. I tried this on and the fabrique seemed odd, rather crisp and hard, not soft and pliable. The leg openings at the knees were loose and baggy, the thighs were just barely snug, not really a compression tight. I would have reordered a size smaller but they were out of stock.

The padding inside the short is higher quality than others, and there are plenty of panels. Definitely worth spending a little extra than your regular gel shorts. Very comfortable, no chafing on extended rides.
