2 Carat Natural Diamond 14ct White Gold Luxury Hoop Earrings for Women

Overall these hoop earrings are very nice looking and have a value that supports the price. However, we were concerned about purchasing diamonds on-line so we had the earrings appraised by a Graduate Gemologist/Appraiser (not a jeweler). The description of the quality of the diamond are Color F-G and Clarity VS1-VS2. Unfortunately they do not appraise as advertised. Bases on our appraiser, the diamonds are Color H-I and clarity SI. What this means is that there are indeed imperfections in the diamonds that you can see with the naked eye (Clarity SI) and the color of the diamond are not as "clear" (i.e., H-I being slightly more yellowed that F-G). For us the Clarity does not seem to impact the beauty of the diamonds ... they appear bright and "clear" and definitely have a nice look for earrings. The issue more at hand is advertising the diamond as VS1-VS2 when per appraiser they are SI at best (if truly VS1-VS2, one would see no spots or imperfections in the diamonds ... but this is not the case.) We sincerely believe the hoop earrings are fairly prices and a good value for those looking for 2 carat hoops. But we are disappointed in the advertising ... if diamonds are advertised as VS1-VS2, then they should appraise as such.
