URSTAR Magnet Bike Trainer Stand - Bicycle Indoor Exercise Stand with Front Wheel Block and Skewer

Set up was easy and required no tools. This was bought for my wife's bike, a 7 speed cruiser type. The bike does not have quick release wheels and was attached to the trainer stand by simply clamping the axel nuts into the stand without using the provided skewer, it is very secure. The variable resistance feature is very effective as long as you use the highest gear that the bike provides. I have used it, I am not an extreme bike rider so resistance level #4 gives me a pretty good workout with #2 for cool down. We have been using it about a month and like it a lot.

Does the job well especially for the price. Setup was easy even for a beginner. Fit my 27.5 inch Mountain bike. Not as loud as expected. It works in my 1 bedroom apartment without disturbing the neighbors. Did the job getting my heart rate up. Nice to be able to stand the bike up too to save space when not in use. Good purchase.

I was very impressed with the shipping on this product! Although it wasn't Prime, it arrived in 2 days.Better yet- it's a great trainer. I wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but was still high quality. I hit the jackpot. I first put my hybrid bike on the trainer. I didn't need the replacement axle with it, which was great. It fit, but it began to squeak after a few hours of riding. It was quieter than I imagined, but was still moderately noisy. I then put my husband's road bike on the trainer, and it was even better-- It did need the replacement axle, and it fits perfectly and snugly. It's MUCH quieter with the skinny tires of the road bike too. I don't hesitate to use it in our apartment that has poor sound proofing because it's that quiet. I find the gears to shift easily and add whatever extra resistance I need.It's unbelievably easy to set up and use. Very happy with this purchase!

Excellent product, incredible customer service! This is the first trainer I've ever bought and I'm 100 percent pleased. You can pull the trainer out of box, set it up and be ready to start training within 10 mins. The trainer is sturdy, comes with a gear changer you can attach to your bike handles bars (so you don't have to get on and off the bike to change gears), a front wheel riser, and metal skewer for the back wheel (if you need it). I looked at a lot of bike trainers on Amazon and am happy I picked this one. The trainer also folds making it easy to store. I would recommend this to my friends without hesitation!

Trainer is very loud making a clicking noise while the wheel is turnin. I tried adjusting the pressure against the tire and lowered the pressure of the back tire and nothing seems to help quiet it down. The bike I’m using has very low tread road tires so I don’t feel it should be as noisy as it is. Also the metal connector on the right screw that holds the bike in place does not sit flush with the bolt on the gear. The one on the left side does so I find this to be a flaw in the design of this particular trainer. This issue makes me worry that the wheel could slip out while training. Chances are I’ll be returning this item to replace it with another brand or incest in a stationary bike.

I have a mountain bike and even though the description stated it works with this type of bike, the skewer is the wrong size. I am currently using my own skewer but will have to go and purchase one that will fit better with the trainer. It's not hard to put together but the directions are somewhat vague. Thank goodness for youtube. It is extremely noisy. Need to figure out how to lower the "volume". I realize you don't notice the noise when you are riding a bike on the street but maybe if they made it out of something else it might help. Finally it comes with a tension adjuster but it doesn't seems to work or else I haven't figured out how to use. It goes up to 6 but it's the same tension whether I have it at 1 or 6. All I do is turn the knob but nothing changes. On the plus side, it does seem to be sturdy even though I am using my own skewer for now. Hope that helps.

Really amazing product. I havent been able to use it but my wife love the fact that i have it on the living room with my bike. Its a great decoration tool. Wife loves them!

Does what it says, you can assemble in minutes, and it is very sturdy. Down sides-the back wheel adjuster is kind of hard to manage because it has a tripod screw top and it gets in the way of the roller that offers tension to the back wheel. I think maybe putting it in place and then pumping the tires will increase the tension. Ditto on the tension adjuster which I put on my handlebars. It is a little bit flimsy and you do not notice much difference unless the tires are fully pumped up. Still, you can adjust as you ride, not have to get off the bike to do so, so it is worth the bit of extra cash for this model.
