Literally came in a big box with 2 of these air pockets things that exploded and all the corners are damaged.As a collector I'm really disappointed because of this but the book itself is so beautiful, I have wanted it since the first kickstarter and im so happy to finally have it!!

I’ve been a follower of Heikala on Instagram and Twitter for some time, so this purchase was a no-brainer! The cover has a glossy-matte texture, and the illustrations are mesmerizing and vibrant. Would definitely recommend this book to anyone who appreciates illustration!

Heikala is one of todays most gifted artists - she combines such a warm, comfortable feel to all of her work that looks so natural and pure. She brings out the best of what beauty can be placed upon a canvas. She will be admired and emulated by many for generations to come. Her beautiful soul shines through to us all. Thank you Heikala, for sharing your beautiful gift and persevering each day to bring it to us all.

I have seen Heikala's works floating around before I finally followed her. I wish I was there during the Kickstarter. Well, fate brought me where I am today with a copy of her book straight from Amazon.This book was worth every penny, and Heikala's way of explaining her journey had a very authentic and humble touch. She is a perfect example of how encouragement and a great foundation (quality education, supportive peers, teachers, and family, and a stable country) provide opportunities in a creative career.Her creative process was explained thoroughly and to the point. I learned a lot!I applaud her for all her hard work! Thank you! :)

The media could not be loaded. The book looks simple enough, and while she has done even better works with more complexity, the cover is good enough to capture your attention with how it seems to hold a story... of sorts. Her art seems more leaning to storytelling in the way she renders mood and tone into the painting. Of course, like Iraville's book, she occasionally shares her thoughts and insight on her process, tools and life as an artist.

I absolutely love this book! It's an amazing art book that gives you insight on how Heikala creates and their journey as an artist. I loved how in-depth the book is. You get watercolor tutorials with pictures of every major step. Also included are lists of supplies they use, sketches, how they went ahead and put their art on various merchandise. A peek into digital artwork as well as a guide to making enamel pins. This is one of the best art books I've ever purchased and I'm so happy I did!

Basicamente, explica el trayecto de la artista a lo largo de su carrera. Incluye parte de su proceso, además, también tiene sus propios tutoriales. Lo amé por completo. Espero que la autora publique más libros.

I am a big fan of this artist and love this book and the content immensely.Although when I received the book it was a tad dirty on the cover and back with dust but also thick stuck on dust spots almost almost appearing to be mold (not sure if it was or just the beginnings of it?) Very easily removable with just a slightly damp paper towel and the book is good as new. Just thought I'd mention. Still highly recommend if you can't find the book anywhere else.

Fab. Good quality book, great prints. My 15 year old daughter loves it.

Adoro essa artista e foi um prazer ler a jornada dela, muitas dicas bacanas e a arte está na maravilhosa! Livro é muito bonito e de ótima qualidade, a área do sketchbook tem papel diferente para complementar e foi um toque legal. Vale muito a pena!
