Ordered these for my dad and he loves them. They felt comfortable, but I cannot speak to their heat resistance. I subtracted one star because this was a Christmas present, and on glove came with a hole in it, which did not give me confidence in this brand.The replacement was easy, however, and they were intact.

I got these for my boyfriend when he checks his pottery kiln since its very hot, 1000 degrees plus, and he kept getting his sleeves on his jacket singed. He can feel a little heat through the glove still, since hes dealing with temps higher then the gloves are made for, but it serves its purpose for the few seconds it takes to prop the kiln top open

These gloves are one size. I am a woman and typically mens med-large gloves fit. these gloves must be XXL because they are just way too big.

Bought these for taking the ash pan out of my coal stove because my old ones were worn out and righty had a hole in the finger where I kept getting singed. I carry the hot ash pan about 20 feet to the garage and with these gloves I can't make it all the way there before it gets too hot through the gloves and I have to put it down. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more dollars for something better. FWIW I have big hands and they fit fine.

You can feel the quality of the leather compared to my old harbor freight gloves. My old gloves would let a lot of heat in, these have better resistance to heat. They are thicker, so they feel bulky, maybe the leather will eventually break in.

the first time i used these gloves the lining came out. i knew they were not safe when i tried to remove an 10 inch cast iron skillet from the stove.........had to put the skillet back down. too hot ! just another cheap item being sold to americans. protect yourself, spend a little more on a better pair
