WOW...I have been suffering from different digestive problems for several years now. I take prescription strength Prevacid for acid reflux and GERD, and had my gall bladder removed a few years ago. Ever since then my digestion of food has slowed down and I have gastritis. It's very painful at times and soooo uncomfortable when your food takes too long to digest. I've tried several different things trying to get some relief. This morning I tried these Swedish bitters, and within half an hour I could feel my pain lessening and I don't feel so bloated. I only took 1/2 a teaspoon in some juice just to start out. I always start out with less than directed because I'm so afraid something new will disagree with me. But no problems!!! I am just amazed at how good this is making me feel already!! I am going to take another 1/2 teaspoon about 20 minutes before supper today and I am just praying it will keep making me feel good. I'm really amazed. I've tried Beta Plus, Solgar digestive enzymes, Pepto Bismol, drinking aloe vera juice, drinking ginger tea -- which all helped to a certain degree, but they didn't help me as much as the Swedish bitters with only one dosage! If you are having the digestive problems that I have, then please just try these Swedish bitters.

I've been using Swedish Bitters off and on for over 10 years. It's like pushing my "reset" button on my health. That being said, the taste could make you feel like you're being punished. I found a way to combine healthy products and improve the taste. I use 8 oz. water and add 1 Tbsp. Swedish bitters, 1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar with Mother and 1 Tsbp. organic blackstrap molasses. I find it easier to drink and often time I drink this concoction before I go to sleep at night. Get brave and give it a try.

Very helpful for gall bladder trouble. Doesn't work for everything (like the common cold - actually makes those symptoms worse). But for digestion, even tooth inflammation, liver gall bladder, supplies surprisingly fast results. I switched from the small bottle to the largest bottle that they sell. But be careful! This stuff is 38% alcohol, just a few percentage points lower than whiskey. Don't get yourself into a VitaMeataVegamin situation by accident! I thought hat the high alcohol content would make it unhelpful, but as long as I'm taking just a few sips a day (with water), it's fine.

I wish I had started using it earlier. Swedish Bitters is like a miracle! I have been suffering from severe back pain for about four months. I have seen three different doctors, and have been having physical therapy for two months. I had MRI for my neck and back but doctors told that there is nothing wrong with them. I did not have any injuries or else; the pain had emerged out of nowhere. I used different medication but none of them helped to ease the pain. I was not able to do my regular daily activities like carrying light grocery bags or standing up/sitting down for more than an hour. My dad strongly recommended this product and I started using it. I was not expecting to see any improvement but I just gave it a try. After using it for four days, 3/4 of my pain was gone. I started feeling much more better. I am now able to stand up/sit down for more than 3-4 hours. Now I have been using it for a week, so I am still going through the recovery process. The pain did not disappear, but there is great improvement. Despite the awful taste, I use it twice a day mixing it with orange juice. I strongly recommend it to everyone who is suffering from some kind of pain.

I grew up with this in our house. My mom used it for everything ( almost ). It's a powerful remedie and it's of high quality. You can drink some to prevent or get rid of a cold. You can put it on cotton in your ear for colds or ear ache. You can put it directly on the skin on burns, cuts, insect bites, pimples, skin irritations, eczema or other skin conditions. When I was younger i was in the kitchen and I accidentally knocked a pan full of hot oil on my hands, so my mom had my hands covered in cotton soaked in Swedish bitter wrapped in plastic bags to keep the moisture ( I could not use my hands ), after a week of this my hands came out almost all healed and I didn't have any scars. I can't think of all the ways we used it but get creative coz it works !! It's a really great product.

Our family was introduced to the wondrous world of bitters from a friend who happened to offer us some in a delicious libation last summer. We immediately ordered our own bottle and have re-ordered because we love the bitters! We received the brown glass bottle (with its charmingly illustrated label) in an equally beautiful box, but it's what's inside that really counts. A little goes a long way, making this worth it for the price. Bitters can be added to any variety of juices and cocktails. One of our favorite recipes calls for a cap full of bitters, a couple ounces of organic apple juice with a splash of pure cherry or cranberry juice and a squeeze of key lime. Serve over ice for a soothing, stimulating, and refreshing beverage! Because of the alcohol content (similar to tinctures), if you are sensitive to alcohol this product may not be for you. This product helps with digestion and gives us an overall feeling of well being.
