Size:14x25x1 You asked for it…here it is. Finally, an electrostatic, washable furnace and a/c filter that is MERV rated!! Introducing the MaxMERV9. The only lab-certified MERV 9 permanent filter. What does MERV 9 mean? It means that this filter traps particles down to 1.0 microns. That includes common allergens like mold, dust mite debris, pollen, pet dander and smoke. Made from rust-proof aluminum and a state-of-the-art polypropylene media weave that achieves MERV 9 filtration and provides good airflow. Move UP to the MaxMERV9 and Never Buy Another Filter! NOTE: This filter has the industry standard 3/8 inch undercut

Great filter that works!
Very noticeable difference in how much more airflow there is compared to even the lower MERV pleated filters. Have tired another brand of washable filter and this one seems to have caught more in two weeks than the other brand did in a month. Also very easy to clean with garden hose or even in the shower. Now I don't have to worry about compromising airflow for better filtration, have peace of mind the evaporator coil will stay clean and that the system will have less stress. (Pictures I posted were taken two weeks after installing it)

Nice Rated Merv. 9 Washable Filter
I purchased 3-MaxMerv9 filters for two H/A returns to have an extra clean set available (already had a washable Gold Filter) for easy replacement, no waiting for them to dry. I bought these filters to replace some high quality Filtrate 1900 filters previously purchased on Amazon that were very good, quiet, but some what restrictive on air flow and expensive for on going use.First impression: The filters are well made, quiet with very little air flow restriction and the only washable Merv. rated filters I could find. I am replacing my present Gold Filter (94 air arrest) which seems to have a stronger aluminum frame than the MaxMerv9, however, it is not Merv. Rated, and seems to be somewhat noisy and more restrictive in air flow. I will keep everyone updated in 6-months or so with any additional comments. But at this time I highly recommend this filter! 👍😃

Very Efficient, Good Filtration And Cost Savings!
This type of filter was recommended by our A/C installer/specialist, for the best operation and long life of our air handler. The filter arrived and it fit perfectly! Though I have no scientific way of measurement, I can say that the air passes through freely and it is definitely filtering a lot of material. We have dogs and so hair and dander are always a concern, plus we get a lot of allergens in our area. This filter stops most everything that gets to it. I would not hesitate to buy another if needed and I highly recommend this filter to my friends and family! This filter will save me a small fortune when compared to the other throw-away filters that do half as much and get replaced every two weeks.

Unfortunately, this filter didn't seem to work for restricting pollen, etc.
I bought this unit to replace a Glasfloss 20x25x4 (Merv 8) filter after 3 months of use because my HVAC guy had told me to change it that frequently (even though it seemed to still be working). I normally reorder through him but couldn't connect. So I tried going with this permanent air filter (20x25x1). After the first night of using it with our furnace fan running continuously, I woke up and my eyes were basically swollen shut. I thought maybe it would take a day or so to start working properly, but it never did. I had to get prescription allergy drops and even steroid drops to deal with my allergic reactions. I made sure the filter was properly sealed, which was the advice I received from their customer service. I AM NOT TRYING TO SABOTAGE THIS SELLER. It may work well with other unit, but it didn't for me, despite me wanting it to work. I haven't returned it yet. I just put in a simple 20x25x1 Merv 11 Filtrete filter tonight and will see if it improves my situation. If the seller is able to explain to me why it wasn't working properly, I'd keep it. If not, then I'll have to return it. Maybe if I wasn't sensitive to pollen, then I would have thought this filter was doing fine. But I noticed a difference within 12 hours of switching from my 3-month-old Glasfloss filter to this one.

This product is really good! Our sneezing and random coughs have all but gone! I can't wait till spring comes and see how it really performs! But so far, we are really impressed. And while it has collected some large visible dust, it's the small micro particulates that it has really cleaned out! It seems that we may only need to clean it out every three months instead of the one month that is recommended. However, I attribute this to the smaller nature of our house and far lower volume of air needing to be exchanged. Yay!

Great value and well worth the cost.
After 5 months I figured I would leave a review. I like this filter. I have a nest thermostat and I run the fan for 15 minute every hour to circulate the air in my house, so I used to go through filters very fast. With this filter I just need to clean it when the thermostat suggests to replace it. I used SC Johnson Fantastik all purpose cleaner on the dirty side and rinse water through it and the water just looks nasty. So I know the filter is collecting all the dust and stuff in the air. Great value and well worth the cost.

Easy to clean &*still going strong after almost 3 years*
We put this in for use while under contstruction. We have had to wash it almost daily! Still working like a champ!*** Almost 3 years later ***This filter is still working and going strong. After construction we spray it down monthly. We have 4 cats and 2 dogs. People with allergies have wondered why our house doesn't set them off. We suspect it's a combination of monthly filter cleanings and monthly pet bathing.

Great product
I have a pet boarding facility and run my HVAC 24/7. I change the filters once a week. The trick in using these without issues is to make sure the slot they slide into is clean and built correctly. I just had a new HVAC system installed and when they built the slot for the filter they left some rough edges and wasn't completely square. The replaceable filters didn't have issues, but they aren't as ridged as these. Once they cleaned up the slot (on their dime) it went in and out perfectly. I bought two so I can rotate them while they dry.
