Verbatim Remanufactured Toner Cartridge Replacement for HP C7115X (Black)

The Verbatim cartridge for my LJ1200 arrived quickly and works flawlessly. I use to recharge cartridges myself but now I let others do it or buy ones such as this one because they can do it for less than I can. I use to use Verbatim 5.25 disks on my Atari computer and never had a problem with them so I thought I would give them a try on their cartridges and I will use them again.

The toner cartridge works as it should, but without a way to return the cartridge for recycling, this is a big environmental waste. Unlike HP, Verbatim doesn't include a return label, and they don't even have recycling info on their website. Looks like they are selling these as one-time use. It's a lot of plastic to throw away in the trash. Shameful.

Verbatim is a respected brand and I thought that was enough to justify this as my first non-HP toner purchase. I used nothing but genuine HP toner in my laserjet for over 10 years, so I have a pretty good idea of what a good image looks like. The Verbatim cartridge is probably fine for non-critical, non-picky, general purpose printing. But for business printing it leaves a lot to be desired. It does not handle gradients or shading very well. Thin-lined fonts and thin gray borders practically disappear into the background. Darks are not as dark as they should be. Page-to-page consistency is also lacking. I can't rule out that maybe I got a bad one, but you know what they say about first impressions.

Bought this product for my HP Laserjet 3300 MFP. The price is right as, the OEM part is 2x the price and the local office store's generic versions are about $10.00 less than the OEM version. I put it in my printer, there was a bit of immediate confusion as to which way was up, but that is easily resolved because it will only fit one way. Printed a few pages, and replaced the original, which is not quite empty yet.Will be interesting to see if this cartridge lives up to the 3500 page estimate.

Used other non oem products that failed within days, this verbatim works good. so far so good printed 3700 pages without issue still have 1 cartridge left hope that works good too. little $ more than other non oem but worth the money so far.

My very first one of these seems to be a dud.It feels heavy enough to be full; but it is printing as if almost empty,and ``rocking'' it does not help. I'm not sure I can even find theoriginal carton to return it in.

We were a little leery about buying remanufactured toner, however we had no problems with the first one so we are on our second one now. You can't even tell it's remanufactured. For the price and quality of printing we will continue to use it.

Worked great for a month and now leaves a black streak down one side of the page.
