This is literally without exaggeration the best $35 I've spent on something useful. I'm 6'0 and about 270 and its tall enough for me to use and sturdy enough to support my weight when I need it to. Its wide enough I can cover myself and someone else the handle is comfortable no matter how I hold it. It's a bit hefty for an umbrella and for someone with below average strength it could pose a minor issue if you elect to carry it upright. But most people dont carry their umbrella like that as far as I am aware so that is hardly a problem in my eyes. I highly recommend this umbrella to you as I have to my close friends

This is exactly the large umbrella I was looking for with the hook to replace the one I had growing up as a child. I love it because it's gigantic and can fit a couple people underneath it, along with stands up to the wind and helps in the cold and rain. The handle is it's made out of wood, however is extremely ergonomic so far as having the same general feel as what otherwise is polished smooth over time.

I bought this umbrella initially to use in a dramatic production that I am involved in. When it arrived, I immediately loved it, both how fashionable it looks as well as how durable it feels! Though it will be used for the drama, I plan on keeping it for myself afterwards. In short, I believe that this is a reliable piece of equipment that has a perfect balance of fashion and function!

We got it as a cane for the wife whose medication makes her a bit more Wobbly. Very well constructed, added a rubber foot 1/2" diameter hole (got that at the local hardware store), which keeps it from sliding on smooth surfaces. The length was longer than most canes as she is six feet, and most would have been too short. The handle is large and easy to grip. Also includes a nylon fabric sleeve with carrying strap, so she can sling it over her head when going up/down stairs. Thumbs-up.

lightweight...great handle....the fabric I expected more...its also not a big enough umbrella....if it was bigger Id give it 5 stars...have to go with 3 only bc of the size.

Nice umbrella. Was impressed at first, but then it started falling apart before I got to use it once! The tip fell off. Can only wonder how long the test will hold up.Update:Seller replaced umbrella at no cost.
