SUREWO Aluminum Protective Case,Skeleton Housing Case Compatible with GoPro New Hero 7/(2018)/6/5 Black

I bought this aluminum frame to provide greater protection for my GoPro 7 black. The open design allows easy access to the USB/HDMI plug ports. I have never felt the need for an external mic and this frame exposes the three camera mics even more than the proprietary plastic frame. After testing, the playback sound is excellent. It comes with a 52mm UV filter which is extra protection for the lens. With step up rings I can use ND and CPL filters from my other camera lenses. Comparing the photos of this frame and other more expensive frames that look exactly alike I concluded they are all made in the same Chinese factory and labeled differently so I chose to spend 20 bucks not 32 bucks. Overall I find this to be an excellent product.

The case fits my Hero 5 black very snuggly. It looks like a quality case. I like the fact I can use 52mm filers on. Also I can tell this case will be much more robust in mounting my GoPro outside an airplane or mountain biking

fit and finish is not bad at all and it’s sturdy. the lenses mount is nice. i also like the option to change the mount on the bottom.

I got this to replace the official GoPro case as the little arms broke, the metal construction now prevents that but adds a higher level of drop protection

It’s pretty sturdy, definitely a nice case. It won’t protect the camera after a fall if you take the round lens off like I did, since I don’t really need that lens.

Fit perfect in my gopro and worked just as it should.

This aluminum protective case is awesome. It is light, strong and has good heat dissipation.
