The camera is great. A suprise is that it doesn't have a 3.5 plug in which I'm used to and need to readjust thinking and technology with that. The kit is just about as expensive as many places you can get the camara alone so I really liked having the two memory cards coming with it... the light I never use, but the mic is pretty decent (not the best but far from worst).

We ordered this camera for weekly taping of our church services. So it is used only on Sunday mornings each week for an hour at most. At first the camera was good. But a year after purchasing, the picture became grainy, like interference from something, and the color started yellowing. Nothing new has changed in the environment to cause this. We sent it to Panasonic to be fixed. It was repaired, but four months later we began seeing the same problem. Very disappointed. Probably will not be purchasing a Panasonic again.

Camcorder itself is great. Takes amazing videos. However, the backpack that comes with it is not designed for this camcorder. To make the camcorder fit all the compartments must be removed. I chose this seller over the other listed on this site mainly because of the backpack as I assumed since it was part of a kit the vendor would make sure the backpack would fit the camcorder while remaining functional.

I like the camera a lot. I do d a lot of Run-and-Gun shooting and it's great.. Does not have the DoF of the larger sensors, but it's much easier and faster to set up a shot on the run... For the money, it's a great camera.. The backpack this particular package comes with is pretty worthless for the camera...
