Awful waste of my money product - tea towels thin and you need tow at least to get any protection, not too troubled by this as I bought this for the very supposedly oven gloves. I use and Aga and sometimes have to reach right into the oven and thought they may give a bit more protection than a tea towel - well a maybe they would if you could actually get the awful stiff unwieldy material this glove is made from to actually bend in any way?? Tried washing them 3 times to try and get a bit of give, it would be dangerous to try and pick up anything, hot or cold with this ridiculous cardboard feel material wrapped around your hands - just wish I had sent them back before trying to manipulate them into doing the job I bought them for. If there were no stars I would gladly have used the button!

I loved the pattern of these gloves so decided to order and even when delivered I was still half with the purchase. Yes the glove is slightly thinner but nothing drastically different to the two I already have! Have used this on a few occasions now and whilst you can feel the heat when holding something hot this is only when you have been holding for longer then a few minutes but I literally only use these to take things in and out the oven which literally takes seconds! In terms of the towels again they are thin but I only ordered for the oven glove however these are still nice and I will be using even if it isn’t for drying my dishes they make a good cleaning cloth never the less =)

The oven gloves are completely useless. Burnt my hands whilst wearing them as they do not protect your hands.They are also very short so you can't even hold a large oven tray on either side

The towels were about half the thickness of my current ones and do feel very flimsy.Oven glove looked good but I held a baking tray for only a short while before I could feel the heat coming through.Wouldn't purchase again.

I am very happy with the tea towels in this set, they are instantly absorbent ( no washing multiple times required which has happened with other tea towels) and have washed well. However the oven cloths are way too short. I assumed (wrongly) that all oven gloves would be of a similar length, these are at least a third shorter than my previous pair. I can’t hold my hands far enough apart to remove a lasagne dish from the oven let alone a large roasting tin. I bought them to match my new colour scheme so until I replace them they will hang decoratively whilst I hide the ones I have to use in a drawer.

Having chosen the red set I realised quickly what a big mistake that was. I washed the tea towels before use and couldn't believe the amount of red fluff that came off them. I'd stupidly put them in with other tea towels, so I now have lots of pink towels. I should have known better. However, when I finally put them to their proper use I was disappointed to find that a lot more fluff came off on the items I was drying, resulting in me having to rinse them again and dry them with one of my old, reliable, tea towels. They did seem quite soft and absorbent but I won't be using them again. Maybe it's the colour but they are definitely not fit for purpose. They'll end up in the 'might be useful one day' drawer with other miscellaneous bits and pieces.

The oven glove is not very long but just about long enough. Lightweight, but quite solid material. Feels comfy when being used. No heat penetration. The colour is immaterial for me so this is OK. Tea towels are a bit small for our use but are ideal for taking on a day out to help tidy up picnic things. Thinnish material but OK.

Same feedback as the grey ones I bought other than this glove is much longer and therefore better for me. No heat penetration. tea towels are small but useful on a picnic day out. For genral use, not that good.
