Wireless Doorbell, VOXON Waterproof Wall Plug-in Cordless Door Chime IP44 Kit With CD Quality Sound and Blue LED Flash 58 Melodies to Choose-Grey This is an attractive looking doorbell, it seems well made with the body being quite solid and fairly heavy for it's size, it is plastic but looks to be good quality tough plastic. The main unit fits into a single 3 pin power socket, it's slim enough to allow room for other plugs to be plugged in alongside. The control buttons are along the left-hand side so the unit would need to be plugged into either a single wall socket or the left hand side of a double wall socket. (or extension)There are four buttons which give a solid click when depressed, the buttons control volume up/down, music selection and setup which is used to pair the transmitter to the base unit, there are 4 volume levels to choose from. You can have just a flashing LED with no sound, sound only or sound plus LED. There are 58 sounds to choose from so there should be something to suit all tastes. The range is 200 metres so there shouldn't be any issues with this going out of range.The push button looks well built and seems to be sealed to keep dampness out. You are supplied with a double sided sticky pad to fix the push button to your door frame. You could also drill 2 holes through an indent on the push button casing if you wish to secure it with screws (which are supplied) but to be honest a screw fixing may allow water to creep into the push button if not sealed. Once the battery is enabled there is an illuminated blue ring around the centre button which looks quite attractive. I got this to gift to my sister as she has gone through two battery operated bells that were not that good (read, forgets to put fresh batteries in).. Anyway I digress, This Voxon Mains operated main bell unit is Grey Plastic mesh design on the front with a blue panel at the top centre about an inch wide, which will light up when the button is pushed (by the way the button has a blue light up circle design around the push button to give visual feedback). The buff coloured neat box contains the Main unit in white with a UK plug incorporated into it. It feels quite light but works very well. It also comes with an adhesive pad for the bell push button as well as two screws and wall plugs if you want to secure fix it at your desired location. There is a Manual which has the legend "Welcome Guide" written on the front along with a vector line drawing of the bell and button. There's plenty of melodies to choose from (58 according to the manual), and you are bound to find one that is to your liking, along with a few that you may not (but you can't please everyone I guess). It's well priced and like my sister, I'm sure you will like it.

This is a pretty good wireless doorbell. It very competitively priced. It looks pretty good, the bell push it subtle but stylish with a light up blue ring to indicate the bell has been rung. The main unit plugs directly into a mains socket. Its really easy to select one of massive selection of chimes. There are some pretty good ones in there, from your standard types to musical, including some recognisable ones and Christmas themed. Its plenty loud enough so you should be able to hear it from another room. You can even do a silent ring with just the LED flashing to indicate its ringing. One feature I liked a lot is you can set the chime you want, and unplug the main until, plug it in somewhere else and it remembers which chime was selected. Our previous wireless doorbell did not remember the chime if the main until was unplugged or powered off. The bell push comes supplied with a flat CR2032 battery, 2 screws and rawl plugs for mounting, or a double-sided sticky pad if you just want to mount it without drilling any holes. The range is fine for our little house, its about 6 meters from push to main unit. I have not been able to test the full range though. The instruction manual is well laid out and concise. All-in-all a great little package for the price.

After looking through endless numbers of bells on Amazon and dismissing a great many of them due to mixed reviews, I dubiously settled with this one and oh am I glad I did.Does exactly what it says on the tin: doesn't mess about as in ringing randomly or not ringing when the button is pressed. The bell has quite a lot of melodies to choose from including classical as well as the typical doorbell melodies. There are also different volume settings to choose from with the loudest being able to be heard from the garden.Instructions are clear, battery for the transmitter is included and the kit is very easy to set up.Just plug in the receiver to the mains wherever is best placed in your house and put the button outside either with the screws and bracket provided or the double sided sticky strip and you're good to go in a matter of minutes!Would highly recommend this product!
